VINTON, Iowa – Cody Wehrle was the top 360 Sprint during an appearance by the Sprint Invaders July 2 at Benton County Speedway. Wehrle raced from the second row and into the runner-up spot two laps into the 25-lapper and chased leader Bret Tripplett until caution slowed action on lap 11. Do to heavy rainfall Saturday morning we are forced to cancel Sunday July 20th event.

Track and grounds are in great shape. Hot laps at 4:30 and racing at 5:00.

The July 6 event featuring the Sprint Invaders will have hot laps at 5:30 with racing to follow due to wet conditions. Support classes will be IMCA Sport Mods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stock, and Sport Compact.

The rescheduled Iowa Donor Night scheduled for June 22 has moved the Hot Laps from 4:30 to 6:00 with races to follow. This is due to high temperatures expected on Sunday. FREE ICE cold bottled water will be available as long as supply last.

Due to the amount of rain received we will postpone the IOWA DONOR NETWORK NIGHT to June 22nd. A.I.R.S. cars will be added to this event along with IMCA MODS $1,250 to win, SPORT MODS $1,000 to win, STOCK CARS $1,000 to win, HOBBY STOCK $500 to win, SPORT COMPACT $300 to win, Legends $300 to win.
